Biography
Before working as a teacher, Louise worked with NGO's in Zambia. It was there that she became aware of the importance and power of education and later on gained her teaching qualification to become a primary teacher.
She worked for 2 years at an NTC school in Copenhagen before moving to Tanzania, where she taught at an IB school for 6 years in the Southern Highlands. Her last 2 years of teaching were combined with the role of Head of Primary.
Having grown up all over the world in multicultural, multilingual settings herself, she is very excited to be working at NAS Jakarta and spending her time with children from so many nationalities and backgrounds. She loves working in a children-led, inquiry-based environment where teaching and learning are based on a holistic approach.
Louise has a passion for learning new languages and gaining insight in new cultures. She loves face painting, working on small creative projects, cooking vegetarian food and spending time with her husband and 3 children.
