Junior Girls

The girls had a steady season working hard as a team to gain a better understanding of the game and how to connect. The girls started the day off strong with two solid wins over ISPP B and Hope.

Their 3rd game of the day was against Logos and who the girls played very well. Although the girls had many excellent opportunities they ended the game in a 1-0 loss.

The girls then focused on finals fighting for a bronze medal. The game was tight and the girls led 2-1 with minutes left.

An unfortunate handball led to a scoring penalty kick to tie the game. The game went to a shoot out and sadly the girls lost 3-2. Overall it was a great performance and we are excited to see what the girls can do at ASAC.

Junior Boys

The Junior Boys team had an excellent tournament really focusing on a connected style of play maximizing space and passing.

The boys beat Paragon, ISPP and iCAN in pool play to advance to the finals versus East West. The boys continued to play dominant well connected football and became champions for the second year in a row.

Due to excellent team play and strong goalkeeping our boys did not concede any goals during the local finals and truly deserve recognition for being humble and gracious in their wins.
