Biography
Louise is a committed and passionate educator, who encorporates her interest of music and drama into daily teaching within her classroom to instil a life-long love for learning in young people. She encourages children to become resilient, aspirational global citizens who think critically about what and how they learn. Louise believes in the unique child and a personalised, holistic approach to education, through which to support children to develop and strengthen skills for life and to have the confidence to find and follow their passions.
Having qualified as a teacher in 2011, Louise spent three years teaching in Maidenbower Infant School, England. This was followed by spending a year in the Netherlands teaching a Year One class in an International School. Louise then returned to the UK to embark on part-time postgraduate study with the aim to further develop her practice and understanding of Early Childhood Education. Alongside her studies, Louise taught in a Reception class for three years at a primary school in Brighton, England.
Louise enjoys singing, acting and playing the guitar. She is an avid film fan of many genres including Disney and musicals. Louise likes to watch documentaries and read about science and nature. She has a love for adventure and the outdoors and enjoys long walks where she can take the opportunity to take out her camera and capture the world through photography.
