On Friday 5th October, the mid semester 1 reports will be published on Managebac. The Approaches to Learning or ATL’s for short (see download below) are the scaffolding for every IB learner across the world.
It is the concept of ‘learning to learn’ which is fundamental in unlocking the potential of each and every child at Northbridge.
We are ambitious for our students and we are sure you are the same in a caring and supportive way. Together in partnership, we can ensure that we get the very best for them!
We are looking forward to meeting you all on Tuesday October 16th at The Three Way conferences where important conversations can be had between student, parent and teacher.
The conferences will be 15 minutes slots in the Primary Cafeteria starting at 7.30 am and finishing at 3.30pm.
This is an important chance to speak with your child's advisor and recognise any patterns of ATL's across different subjects or interdisciplinarily in IB language.
If there are any issues with certain subjects then there will be time to speak with the relevant teacher as well.
Please make sure that you sign and send the letter back by Friday 5th October.
