Northbridge International School Cambodia Dance Teacher Ms Yabei Chen recently visited The Juilliard School in New York to discuss our dance programme and new Dance Studio.
"The Nord Anglia-Juilliard PD Week consisted of five days of full on workshop regarding the Juilliard Approach in teaching creative dance in Nord Anglia schools, understanding the selected Core Works, opportunities to engage with regional colleagues, and finding success in educational practices, among other workshops," says Ms Yabei.
"We also had the chance to take two technique classes in hip-hop from Ms Vee, and Contemporary from John Heginbotham who's choreography is one of the featured Core Works."
"During the week I also co-led a Core Work lesson with Hilary Easton, the Curriculum Specialist who visits Northbridge for the newer teachers starting this academic year," added Ms Yabei.
"It was an amazing week connecting with other educators that will be implementing dance at their respective schools all over the world. I am very inspired to get the students creating and appreciating dance even more this year."

Northbridge International School Cambodia is incredibly lucky to be partnered with Juilliard. In my time at Northbridge and previously at the British School in Warsaw, Poland I have got to meet some amazing musicians, dancers and actors who are all passionate about education from the world-leading conservatoire (Juilliard) in those fields.
