We are pleased to announce the results of the new Northbridge International School Cambodia Parent Satisfaction Survey, and would like to thank all of the parents who took the time to complete this important annual review.

This year's results, along with the continuous guidance and review with the Nord Anglia Education leadership, enable us to create a thorough improvement and development plan for Northbridge. We will keep you updated on our progress in each of these areas throughout the next academic year.

In last year's 2019-2020 Parent Satisfaction Survey, the Top Areas for Improvement were given as:

  • Performing arts facilities (music rooms, drama spaces, theatre) - 39% wanted improvement

We have continued to invest in our facilities and bring in new, experienced teaching staff to lead our collaborations with Juilliard. However, we recognise the next step must be investment in a state-of-the-art peforming arts centre. Preliminary works are already being undertaken for this.

  • IT teaching facilities - 31% wanted improvement

There has been substantial investment in IT technology throughout the school, from new computers, to upgrading of software packages such as Seesaw for Primary, and improvement of the Wi-Fi connectivity. This is constantly under review, and more improvments are coming next year.

  • Keeping parents informed about my child’s successes outside of academic progress - 30% wanted improvement

We have endeavoured to do a better job of this, through our Parent Teacher Conferences, increased social media profile and connecting on the platforms that suit you (including a new Telegram channel), but will continue to try do more in the next school year, so we can all celebrate your child's successes.

Conclusion: It has been a challenging but successful year for all of us, but many parents recognise their children are recieving a quality education in a safe and well-equipped learning environment. At the same time, we also acknowledge we need to continue to build and develop our facilities and teaching and learning.
