Christmas started early for the students, parents, teachers, and staff who are a part of the Northbridge Community Choir. On Sunday 4 November they sang at the Women’s International Group’s (WIG) annual Christmas Fair.
It was an exciting day for our singers as they got to see some other school and local community choirs performing. They also got to enjoy all the yummy food and Christmas knick knacks for sale as well as participate in some Christmas themed activities.
When the Northbridge Community Choir took the stage, they were a little nervous as it was their first gig! No one in the audience would have known that though as they sang confidently and showed lots of enthusiasm. Lots of grade 3 students came to join the choir in singing a Christmas favourite “Let it Snow” and a fun, more modern song called “Making Christmas Cookies.”
Thank-you to many people from the Northbridge community coming and being a supportive audience. Hopefully we can get more of the community up on stage with us in the future.
If you are interested in joining the Nortbiridge Community Choir please contact Ms. Jenn at jennifer.harris-lowe@nisc.edu.kh.
We practice every Thursday from 3:45-4:30. No prior singing experience is necessary, it’s a great way to meet others in the community, practice your English, and have fun singing!
Thank you, Northbridge International School Cambodia, your energy for our production of The Greatest Show was truly electric! Between your cheers, the beats laid down by our live pit band, and our outstanding performers, our circus was rocking! We loved the enthusiasm you showed for our artists.
