Jenny moved back to China in 2016 after living in UK for 12 years. She joined Léman in the same year to pursue her passion in teaching. Since then, she has worked in Year 1 and EAL Department. Jenny has been working with ELA students from Y1 to Y9 at different English language proficiency levels. She is devoted in building EAL students’ confidence as well as nurturing and sustaining their passion in learning English.
Jenny graduated from Capital Normal University in Beijing with a bachelor’s degree in English Teaching and gained Qualified Teacher Status. After that, Jenny graduated from University of Liverpool, UK with a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management. Ms. Jenny began her teaching career in Manchester, UK, where she taught GCSE Chinese for three years. She also worked as a HR professional in a leading humanitarian organization in UK for seven years and completed her training by gaining Chartered Institute of Personnel Development Qualification.
Jenny enjoys the diverse school community in Léman. She is proud of being Chinese and willing to share Chinese cultures and customs with students & teachers from other countries. At the same time, she is curious and open-minded about other countries and cultures.
