It’s been an absolute whirlwind but thoroughly enjoyable all the same. I was a class teacher for three years before deciding to focus on music, becoming a specialist music teacher in a variety of London schools and eventually Head of Music for two years. It was at this time I developed an interest in SEN teaching through Music Therapy sessions.
At Regents, I was offered the opportunity to teach Learning Support in Year 3 and I have continued to teach Year 4 and Year 6 Learning Support and EAL classes this year. Next year I will be specialising in teaching EAL as a full time member of the Inclusion Department.
Outside of teaching in Thailand, when time allows, I like to keep myself busy with travelling, live music (watching and playing), table tennis, swimming, surfing and playing football.
