PALY Athletic Meet

On a glorious Saturday morning, 36 of our athletes arrived at the Star City fields ready for action in the Interschools athletics meet. It was a well organised event which saw our athletes compete in a variety of running, jumping and throwing events against Network and Dulwich schools. There were 4 age groups - U7, U9, U11 and U13.

Our extra Friday training sessions paid off as we were victorious in 28 of the 64 events with many students receiving medals for their performances.

Ultimately, it was a team event and everyone gained points for their school. However, some athletes stood out and won their respective events gaining maximum points: (no. of events won in brackets).

U7 – Takumi (2), Abigail (2) and Tinuli (2)
U9 – Lamin (4), Maya (2), David, Gabriel, Aung Sitt Pain
U11 – Maung (2), Eva (2), Vita, Leo, Hangyul, Ronaldo
U13 – Pinky (3), Shayyan

It was great to see so many parents down to support and cheer their children on.

The final results were:

  • BSY (256pts)
  • Network (238pts)
  • Dulwich (121pts)

What a fantastic morning. Well done to all.
