Dear Parents,
We are looking forward to our upcoming Chinese New Year Celebrations in school which will be complimented by Lunar New Year Rice Collection supporting Chee Sing Kok Social Centre for Elderly (CSK). Our rice collection begins this week and marks our support for our local community.
Beyond our community support, and as we move further into the school year, we would like to share how we monitor and communicate your child’s progress. Our goal is to ensure that every family has a clear, accurate, and timely understanding of how their child is developing academically, socially, and emotionally.
Teachers continuously assess learning through a combination of classwork, observations, discussions, and formal assessments. This ongoing approach allows us to build a comprehensive picture of each child’s strengths, areas for growth, and learning habits. It also helps us tailor support and challenge so that every child can thrive.
Next week, you will receive your child’s Term 2 Report outlining your child’s progress on developmental milestones, along with next steps for improvement. We encourage you to review this report together with your child and celebrate their efforts as well as discuss their goals.
Finally, our upcoming parent teacher meetings in March will provide an opportunity for deeper conversation with class teachers. These meetings are a valuable time to ask questions, share insights from home, and work collaboratively with teachers to support your child’s progress in school and at home.
Together, we can ensure a positive and successful learning journey for every child.
