Book Week with the Reception Cubs

11 november 2015

Wow...what a weird and wonderful book week in the Reception Cubs.

Monday saw us being invaded by a swarm of wasps which led into our BIG QUESTION 'how can we catch the wasps?'

The Cubs had some fantastic ideas and then learnt about the villagers of Itching Down who faced the same problem. They caught their swarm using a giant jam sandwich.

Throughout the week we have tasted and ranked jam, made jam sandwiches, visited Story Land, worked with our reading buddies from the Primary School, dressed as our favourite book characters and some of us were even lucky enough to receive visits from some very special mystery readers.

Great fun was had by all!
