Primary School Book Club

05 februari 2015

Reading at home is a great way for students to develop their reading ability and love of books. This month we are pleased to offer our primary students the opportunity to purchase books from Baker Books. Our Primary Librarians explain more about the Baker Books International School Book Club.

  • Baker Books International School Book Club is availablle for students at the British School Shanghai

Their catalogue has a wide variety of quality books to choose from. Many are newly-published and offered below the recommended retail price.  Additionally, we will receive credit that allows us to select books to include in the school Library.

Baker Books offers an online system for selecting and purchasing books. You will not need to send any money to school.  Just follow a set of simple instructions, these were sent home in a letter this week which you can find by following the link below.

If you are unable to order online, you can also place your order with the exact payment in an envelope, for the attention of the Librarians and put it in the box in the Primary reception.

The closing date for ordering books is Wednesday 11 February and no further payments will be accepted after this date.

We expect the books to arrive and be distributed in the middle of March, but please bear in mind sometimes there are delays when shipping to China.
