Can the BISS Puxi Lions Soccer Team Kick It Like Messi?

03 februari 2016

January saw the start of various soccer leagues for our BISS Lions teams and with the cold weather plunging Shanghai into temperatures more akin to those in the Faroe Islands, it got us thinking whether Messi could do it on a cold winter’s afternoon in Shanghai.

So instead, we’re asking you if you think our boys and girls could do it on a cold Wednesday February afternoon in Shanghai.

We’re putting 22 members of the boys and girls BISS Lions soccer team on the spot and asking if they can hit the crossbar with a soccer ball from 25 yards.

We want you to guess how times the crossbar will be struck by the 22 players who will have one shot each.

If you can correctly guess how many times they will hit the bar, you will win a family pass to The Threepenny Opera which will be held on 1, 2 and 3 March in our Auditorium, the BISS Puxi Garden Party which will be held on 23 April and a BISS Puxi Goodie Bag.

To enter the competition, all you have to do is submit your prediction on how many times each of the 22 players will strike the crossbar here.

All predictions must be submitted by Tuesday 16 February 5pm with players filming on Wednesday 17 February.

Footage of the boys and girls attempts will be posted on our blog and Facebook page on Thursday 18 February.

To give you an indication of how difficult it will be, our Head of Football Mr Lewis tried it yesterday.

Let’s hope our boys and girls will be more accurate than Mr Lewis.

Competition Guidelines

Entrants will be permitted to make one selection only.

Family pass equates to 2 * Adult tickets and 2 * Children tickets.

In the event of multiple entrants correctly guessing how many times the bar will be struck, a random draw will be held to choose the overall winner.

The closing date for entry will be Tuesday 15th February 2015 5pm. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the competition.

The winner agrees to be photographed receiving tickets for both events.

BISS Puxi reserves the right to amend the competition and the terms and conditions without notice at any time for any reason, at its sole discretion.

No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable.

In the event of any dispute regarding the competition or the terms and conditions, the decision of BISS Puxi shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

Good luck.

Ryan Kealey, Marketing and Events Manager
