Bring your friends, family, cars, bikes and scooters for a squeaky clean day. It’s only 100RMB for cars, 50RMB for scooters and 30RMB for bikes. Refreshments will be sold as well.
All profits go towards Nord Anglia Education’s projects in Tanzania and some of our students are travelling to Tanzania in January 2017 to help with these projects.
Some of the work they will be doing is helping to build goat sheds, smokeless stoves and install solar panels for families in need. This allows the families to have a source of food and an income.
We will also be volunteering at one of the local primary Schools. The classrooms are in bad conditions (bats have nested and the smell is awful!) and resources for learning are very basic. We hope to improve the conditions of the school and the onsite teachers’ accommodation. This means the teachers will be able to live on site instead of travelling up to 4 hours a day to the school. Look forward to seeing you this weekend!
