Science Evening: KS1

11 May 2015

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Last year we had a very popular series of Science Evenings targeting different age ranges in the Primary School and we are delighted to be able to continue these this year. We would like to extend an invitation to Key Stage 1 students and their families to join us for an evening this term.

We are offering this evening in Stage One on Tuesday 26 May, from 4.30pm until 6.00pm at the latest. This will be a hands-on challenge for you to complete with your child/children offering you the chance to use all your scientific skills. All children attending must to be accompanied by an adult and if you are attending it would be beneficial if you wore clothes that are comfortable and can be easily washed (Science can be messy!).

As we may need to tailor the activities and location based on numbers attending, please you could indicate your interest by returning the slip below to your class teacher if you are planning to attend. The latest date for your reply is Friday 15 May. Please inform your child’s class teacher if your attendance will impact on end of day procedures or buses.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me via email at I really hope to see many of you there.

Best wishes,

Helen McMullen

Primary Science Coordinator
