Once qualified, Francis was given a position in the North London school in which he had trained, teaching Physics at GCSE and A level. His genuine passion for his subject and his enthusiasm for the development of the young people he works with are the foundations of his success as a classroom practitioner. With an honest investment in all of his students, he is excited by the potential of anyone with an interest to become a success in the field. As well as teaching Science, Francis is a keen walker and climber and has assisted students in the Duke of Edinburgh award and other outdoor pursuits.
Francis has the interests of a typical Physics enthusiast – science fiction, board games and gravitational parabola testing (juggling). He also enjoys walking, rock climbing, travelling and exploring new places with his wife Ceridwen. Always torn between Art and Science when he was at school, he is now an amateur sculptor and enjoys life drawing.
