Wendy has been a school leader and teacher for over 30 years. She joined La Côte International School in 2014 following six years as Principal of the British International School Bratislava. During her time at the school, she enhanced the curriculum leading to a significant improvement in student outcomes and establishing it’s position as the leading school in the city. Wendy has a holistic educational philosophy and she oversaw the development of a rich beyond the classroom programme at the school, including sport, music and dance.
Prior to this, Wendy was Headmistress and Deputy Headmistress at Windermere St Anne’s School in the UK from 1997 to 2006. During her time as Headmistress, the school was awarded “The Most Improved School” accolade in the Financial Times Education Awards. She garnered extensive experience as a school leader and teacher in a number of independent schools in the UK. Wendy is a graduate of the University of Lancaster in History and Politics and also holds a PGCE from Kings College London and MBA from Lancaster Management School.
