The Role

The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an outstanding professional to lead our Arabic team. You will join a team of talented and passionate teachers who are committed to doing the best for every student.

The Head of Arabic will be supported by leaders in the Primary and Secondary sections, and also by a Head of Islamic and Social Studies. The Head of Arabic will improve the outcomes for all students through a constant focus on the development of high-quality teaching in every classroom.

The Person:

You will be a teacher who is passionate about their profession and seeks continuous improvement. You will have a positive mindset and will always do your very best for students, for parents and for colleagues. You will likely to have strong experience of the UK national curriculum; further experience of international education will be an added advantage.

You will be an excellent communicator who will work well with all members of the community. You will have a strong focus on supporting others to be the best teachers they can be and will also participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life. You will be responsible for encouraging and developing further our culture of inspiration, enjoyment and success.

The closing date for application is Thursday 7th January, and first stage interviews will be conducted by Skype or telephone. Final interviews will take place either by Skype or at the Nord Anglia Education Recruitment Event in central London between Tuesday 19th and Thursday 21st January 2016, or in Abu Dhabi the following week.
