Global Campus Special Report

12 December 2016

November has been abuzz with several Global Campus activities well underway. Students imagined great engineering feats through the Lego Challenge, while exploring their love for music through performances by Juilliard alumni. Read on to hear more about what's been happening on the Global Campus this month.

Discovering their love for learning one note at a time

Juilliard alumni inspired students with breathtaking performances. Students discovered the joys of playing the violin to reimagining music through beatboxing. Our Juilliard alumni visits and performances are just some of the highlights as part of our larger collaboration with one of the world's most influential performing arts school.

The Lego Challenge is a chance for students to imagine solutions for various engineering and design puzzles. Through basic building blocks, students can collaborate, communicate and devise ways to overcome real world problems. See how how students put their ingenuity to the test in our Lego Challenge.

Our Curiosity Challenge asked students to examine their surroundings and share what makes them curious. As part of our new approach to learning STEAM subjects (science, technology, engineering, art and maths) in collaboration with MIT, students explain what makes them question and wonder.
