The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an outstanding Human Resources Officer to join a well-established and supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school.
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused individual, with proven HR experience who will be able to deliver a proactive, knowledgeable and reliable HR service. Joining the school’s diverse HR team, the HR Officer will be responsible for providing high quality advice, support and guidance within the school, pertaining to all HR and staffing related matters.
Reporting directly to the HR Manager the HR Officer will have a busy and diverse role where the main key deliverables will include coordinating end to end recruitment activities and the on-boarding process. The HR Officer will also support and develop day-to-day HR functions including compensation, employee relations, benefits administration and ensure an excellent customer-focused HR service across the entire employee lifecycle. The role will also work in coordination with other departments within the school to enable effective and efficient HR service and systems delivery. Together with the HR team the successful candidate will also ensure the development, maintenance and implementation of best Human Resources practices operationally, strategically and in line with School and NAE policies.
We are looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be results oriented, self-motivated and flexible, tactful and approachable with an ability to build good working relationships with people at all levels in the school.
Ideally, we are seeking applications from individuals with 2-3 years generalist HR experience and proven skills in operating HRIS and ATS systems, gained in a fast-paced and multi-cultural HR environment. You will be educated to at least GCSE level – including Maths and English. A demonstrable working knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power-point is essential.
