The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an outstanding Human Resources Officer to join a well-established and supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, customer-focused individual with proven HR experience to join the school’s diverse HR team. A key component of the role is providing all members of staff with an exceptional HR service throughout the employee lifecycle.

Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Officer will deliver and develop day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, provision of HR metrics and promoting staff wellbeing initiatives.  

We are looking for someone who is people-orientated, self-motivated, flexible, tactful and approachable with an ability to build good working relationships with colleagues at all levels in the school. Above all you will be focussed on helping our staff to be the best they can be.

Ideally, we are seeking applications from individuals with at least 3 years generalist HR experience, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and confidence in operating HR systems. Experience of working in a fast-paced and multi-cultural HR environment would be an advantage. You will be educated to at least high school level with solid maths and English literacy.  Excellent IT and inter-personal skills are essential.

Selection Process
