These trips are only for students who have registered for the Duke of Edinburgh International Award.
DoE Bronze Practice (Two cohorts)
The Duke of Edinburgh (DoE) Bronze Practice enables students to develop their campcraft, navigation, team work and problem-solving skills over 2 days/1 night, in preparation for the Adventurous Journey element of the DoE International Award. Students will learn from mistakes made in preparation for the assessed (qualifying) element of the award.
DoE Bronze Qualifying (Two cohorts)
The Duke of Edinburgh (DoE) Bronze Qualifying trip enables the students to be assessed in the Adventurous Journey element of the award over a 2 day/1-night period.
DoE Silver Practice
The Duke of Edinburgh (DoE) Silver Practice enables students to develop their campcraft, navigation, team work and problem-solving skills over 3 days/2 nights, in preparation for the Adventurous Journey element of the DoE International Award. Students will learn from mistakes made in preparation for the assessed (qualifying) element of the award.
DoE Silver Qualifying
The Duke of Edinburgh (DoE) Silver Qualifying trip enables the students to be assessed in the Adventurous Journey element of the award over a 3 day/2-night period.
