I am a graduate of the University of Al Azhar in Islamic and Arabic Studies, and hold a Masters Degree in Islamic Studies. Currently, I am pursuing a degree of Master of Education (Curriculum and Instruction).
I worked in Abu Dhabi for 16 years from 2001 to 2017 where I gained a wealth of experience in teaching Islamic Studies and Arabic for all levels at national and international schools. I spent six years at an international school in abu Dhabi which gave me the experience of being a leader. I worked with my team on improving teaching and learning in our department, and I took responsibility for organising high-profile Islamic and cultural events and competitions. I also care about the environment, and lead the school's environmental competition and recycling club. Journalism has also been my hobby for many years.
One of my experiences that I am proud of is contributing to the development of Arabic language curricula for native and non-native speakers for specialised centers and institutes.
Life became quieter after I travelled to Germany, and started learning gardening for the first time in my life. In addition I participated in some volunteer work, such as teaching Arabic to native and non-native speakers. Furthermore, learning the German language (where I finished B2 level), I was able to make many friends in my social and academic environment. I visited several schools in Brandenburg to complete my research about foreign students in this city.
