I graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2015, with a degree in Primary Education and since then I taught for two years in a large primary school in Bradford, United Kingdom.
I initially started my career in Key Stage 2, teaching a Year 5 class, before moving to Year 2. During this time I took a keen interest in engaging children in education and enjoyed taking part in many government projects in this area. I was lucky enough to work alongside Heritage England in 2016, in a project designed to engage children in their local community and culture. This resulted in my class becoming one of the first in the UK to get a local war memorial protected.
I have always been a keen traveller and one of my favourite things to do is visit new places and embrace new cultures. I have visited countries all over Europe, Asia and America, however after visiting the UAE, I enjoyed it so much that I made the decision to move here. Growing up, I had a very active lifestyle, I dedicated a lot of my time to gymnastic competitions and competed at both a national and international scale. I still try to be as active as possible now and enjoy participating in fitness. In my spare time I love to read, socialise and listen to a whole variety of music.
