I started out in education as a sports coach working in five different schools in North London helping with their sports and athletics teams. During this time I was at Middlesex University and completed my bachelor of Arts in Business Marketing and Management. I then completed my teaching qualification and worked as a primary school teacher at Chesterfield School in Enfield. I worked there for three years and then wanted to live and teach aboard. This was when I made the decision to come to The British International School, Abu Dhabi.
I was born and raised in London, although my family originated from Cyprus. I speak two languages, English and Greek, and I am now taking Arabic lessons. I enjoy playing all sports although my main passion is football. I am a Chelsea fan and was a season ticket holder for over 20 years. I had to sadly give up my ticket when I moved over to the UAE. I live in Abu Dhabi with my wife and two children and a little known fact about me is that I was also an Expat child and lived in Nigeria for three years when I was very young.
