After graduating from St. Mary’s University College Belfast with BEd Primary in 2011, I began my career teaching a Year 6 class in Southampton, England. After completing my NQT year, I embarked on my International School adventure in Doha, Qatar in 2012. I stayed in Qatar for five years teaching across Key Stage 2 classes where I have gained invaluable teaching experience.
I grew up in Co. Down in Ireland and from a young age I always had a major interest in sport. I participate in a range of sports; however my main sport is Gaelic Football where I have played both in Ireland and the Middle East. I am a ‘foodie’ at heart and love trying new culinary dishes from a range of different cultures. My personal aspiration is to add more stamps to my passport and travel as far and wide as possible.
The British International School of Abu Dhabi is different to all other schools I have worked at because it is a Global Campus connecting students from all corners of the world.
