I have over twenty years of teaching experience in Australia and internationally. During my career, I have taught in varied educational contexts and curriculum structures. Teaching is my chosen profession and I have both a practical and academic interest in education.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Griffith University, and postgraduate awards from the University of Queensland and the University of New England. I also have experience working with the International Baccalaureate Organisation as an examiner.
My interest in economics began in the late 1980s as I experienced the development of the Asian Economies. This lived experience led me to University and finally into education.
In more recent times I have been working with horses to provide equine therapy for special needs children.
I enjoy travel and discovering different places and ways. Before moving to the UAE, I was living and working in Australia’s Northern Territory. This is a remote part of Australia that offered me the opportunity to spend time in several wilderness areas camping, fishing and exploring.
