After finishing my English degree in Sheffield, I stayed there to complete my PGCE. However at the end of the course, I realised that England weather was not for me so I joined the international school family.
I first worked for two years in Kandy, Sri Lanka where I was running the French department. I was also appointed Deputy Head during my second year. I then went back to France and worked at the International School of Bearn, a new school which had just opened in my home town. I worked there for six years as a Head of MFL with a particular focus on the native French programme.
As my husband had already worked in the gulf, we knew the region and we had always wanted to come back and work here. That’s why we took the decision to come and work here.I have been running the MFL department at BIS Abu Dhabi since the school opened.
I am from Pau, a middle-sized town in the South West of France. Married and a mother of 2 sons, who are both at the school.
I play golf during my spare time and I am a big fan of American series. When I was younger I used to do springboard diving and went up to the French National finals.... A stressful yet great experience.
