Last Tuesday saw students in Years 3-6 present their experiments and investigations to our school community through the annual Science Fair. It was a great exit point to the journey of work that had been undertaken over the past few weeks. Students worked collaboratively with their peers throughout the whole process from the initial ‘idea’ stage, to sourcing the resources and equipment, to finally presenting to their peers, teachers and parents. As the school looks ahead to implementing STEAM into the Primary curriculum next academic year, the Science Fair has made us realise how much we already do at NAISAK to engage our students in the wonderful world of science. We would like to thank all of our parents who invested quality time with their child to ensure they were equipped to deliver on the day. Whilst walking around each class, the energy and enthusiasm displayed in the children was a delight to witness. The teachers are very proud of the their efforts and once again the Science Fair goes down as one to remember. Please take a look at the display we have created to celebrate the great science learning that has taken place in various forms over the last few weeks, which is next to the Principal’s Office!
