Hi, I’m Tracey Phillips, I lived in London as a child, through my studies and when I first started teaching and moved to Cambridgeshire in 2002, however, I have been living and working in Qatar since August 2017. I am a real dog lover having grown up with Labradors and more recently had two gorgeous Chihuahuas whilst living in England. I have always had dogs, they are great for exercise, for relaxing with and just good company. I am one of four children, my older sister and younger brother live near my parents in Cambridgeshire but I also have a sister living in Australia, I visit her whenever I can.
During my career I have experienced a range of roles, teaching across the primary age range, from Nursery to Year 6, in a variety of schools. I have taught in the UK and Spain following the National Curriculum and the Early Years Curriculum and worked to develop a creative curriculum, providing enhanced learning opportunities and special events. I have been a school leader and classroom teacher during my thirty years in education and am thoroughly enjoying teaching here at NAISAK. We have a wonderful school and amazing children that make every day different.
I am passionate about learning and strive to develop children’s thinking beyond the curriculum and build a thirst for knowledge and lifelong learning. Every child is unique and all children deserve to be given a vast range of exciting learning opportunities. I also believe that the pastoral care of the children is at the core of what we do.
Learning should be creative, inspiring and fun!
I am looking forward to another exciting and busy year at NAISAK as we work with you, the parents to ensure our children have foundations on which to build their learning journey
