Hello! My name is Cassandra Molloy and I’m from Ireland. After a few years working as a trainee solicitor in Ireland, I decided to make a career change and pursue teaching. I’m very thankful to have a career which enables me to work abroad and meet children and adults from all walks of life. I’ve been a teacher for the past 10 years and I love working with students of all ages and encouraging them to become lifelong learners.
I moved to Doha in 2013 and what an adventure it’s turned out to be. During my time here, I have taught the British curriculum and IB. I decided to move to Nord Anglia International School Al Khor because I had the exciting opportunity to become a year leader and to be heavily involved in Positive Discipline at the school, which is a real passion of mine. Our school is undergoing so many wonderful and positive changes at the moment and I am really enjoying being a part of that process.
In my free time, I love to relax with family and friends. I enjoy cooking, socialising, yoga, writing poetry and watching movies. I like to read and take time to be creative when I am at home in the evenings. I especially love adventures and take every opportunity to travel around the world and experience new countries and cultures. I love to attend the theatre and concerts whenever I can.
