My name is Cassandra Molloy and I come from a very beautiful country called Ireland. I completed a law degree in 2005 with University College Dublin and subsequently worked as a trainee solicitor for three years. In 2008, I decided to embark on a career change and pursue my passion for education. I completed a Post Graduate Higher Diploma in Primary Education with Trinity College Dublin and Froebel College of Education in 2010 and have never looked back. Teaching is my vocation. I am truly thankful to have a career which enables me to meet people from all walks of life.
I moved to Doha in 2013 and I absolutely love living in Qatar. During my time here, I have taught the British curriculum and IB. I decided to move to Nord Anglia International School Al Khor because I had the exciting opportunity to become a year leader and literacy subject leader. NAISAK offered me exactly what I was looking for at this stage of my career and I could tell that the school adopts a balanced approach to learning and prioritises the needs of the children, which was very appealing to me.
In my free time, I love to relax with family and friends. I enjoy cooking, socialising, yoga, writing poetry and watching movies. I like to read and take time to be creative when I am at home in the evenings. I especially love adventures and take every opportunity to travel around the world and experience new countries and cultures. I love to attend the theatre and concerts whenever I can.
I am genuinely looking forward to my new roles here at NAISAK. I cannot wait to learn more about the IPC and to incorporate an enquiry approach together with the British Curriculum. I am delighted to be in Al Khor and to meet even more new students from different backgrounds. I love that we are adopting Positive Discipline in our school and I look forward to meeting you soon.
