I was born and raised in Llanelli, Wales where I was fortunate enough to have been taught by excellent teachers throughout my childhood. As a result, I always wanted to pass this on to future generations. I completed my PGCE in Primary Education in 2014; since then I have been teaching in Qatar. I have enjoyed taking on extra responsibilities, such as overseeing the student voice and in previous roles, coordinating mathematics for Key Stage 2.
Outside of the classroom I am a keen sportsman. I enjoy taking part in a variety of sports including football, rugby and crossfit. I am a huge Manchester United fan and always love to watch Wales play rugby. Throughout my teaching career I have been heavily involved in the extra-curricular life of the school, leading sessions in football, iPads and chess to name but a few.
I am looking forward to teaching at NAISAK where I will be given the opportunity to develop as a teacher and to work with excellent, committed teachers. I am keen to teach and to prepare all students to become resilient, adaptable and respectful future members of society.
