Prior to receiving my PGCE from Manchester Metropolitan University, I completed my undergraduate degree in Law with Criminology at Leeds Metropolitan University. I subsequently worked as an English teacher in Southeast Asia, where I taught children between the ages of 2-17 in Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore. My experiences gave me the opportunity to realise how much I enjoyed teaching and gave me the impetus to go and qualify as a teacher at home.
In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and scuba diving whenever possible, and I indoor rock climb regularly. On lazier days, I am an avid reader and constantly listen to an eclectic mix of music. I am also a keen cook and particularly enjoy attempting to make authentic Mexican cuisine.
I am very excited to join NAISAK as it allows me the opportunity to work with children from a range of diverse backgrounds, and I hope these differences will add variety and excitement to every day. Nord Anglia Education’s Global Campus is also incredibly exciting for the opportunities it offers to the children as far as being engaged in the wider international community.
