Kamran Chaudary

Science Teacher

My name is Kamran Chaudary and I will be teaching Science at KS3 and Biology at KS4 and KS5. After a successful teaching adventure in the UK, I decided to join NAISAK as I believe this is not an opportunity to be missed. I look forward to working collectively with all the wonderful pupils at NAISAK who are from various parts of the world alongside working with the locals. My experiences of teaching in the UK have equipped me with the skills to ensure pupils at NAISAK are provided with the opportunity to become the best versions of themselves in my classroom.

I completed my undergraduate degree from Coventry University in the UK and then completed my PGCE in Biology. My undergraduate course equipped with me the skills in various areas. My modules contained numerous topics that vary from biomechanics to the importance of psychological wellbeing in athletes. In my previous school, I have worked closely with trainee teachers some of the best universities in the country. This was an important responsibility which I took very seriously to ensure I can mentor the trainees in being the best teachers they can be and developing their persona in the classroom. I was also nominated as one of the best teachers in the country in 2018-2019 and this I believe is my greatest achievement. The thought of being nominated for this award is not something I envisioned at the beginning of the year.

I would like to consider myself as a friendly and approachable person who strives to be the best at everything they do. My hobbies include swimming, football and going to the gym. I played football at a semi-professional standard in the UK for 4 years and as a result of this, I developed many skills on and off the football pitch. My favourite football team is Arsenal and my favourite player in the world is Cristiano Ronaldo. My accomplishments in football include playing at Old Trafford and playing against some of the best teams in the world.

I am eager to begin this wonderful adventure at NAISAK to help pupils develop their academic ability and interpersonal skills. Qatar is a wonderful country and I look forward to travelling around Qatar; learning about the culture from the pupils.
