I have been a teacher for thirteen years and have taught both in the UK and internationally. I thoroughly enjoy my career as a Science teacher and hope I have enthused many students with my commitment to learning. I have a PGCE from Liverpool John Moores University and studied Chemistry and Psychology at the University of Liverpool. I have recently worked in a new Academy in Manchester and have set up an outstanding Science department. Before this I worked internationally as Head of Science, Head of Year and Head of House for schools in South East Asia and Latin America. I have experience of working across Key Stages 2, 3 and 4 and believe students are most engaged when they enjoy the experience of learning in their subjects.
I am excited to be joining NAISAK in the new position of Head of Key Stage Three in NAISAK and am looking forward to working with the staff, students and the wider NAISAK community.
I am travelling to Qatar with my wife and our 2-year-old son. We are looking forward to exploring the country and experiencing a new culture. I enjoy travelling, meeting new people and playing an active role in a new School community. I enjoy taking part in most sports and I am very keen on taking part in fitness training in my spare time.
This School will be different to all others I have worked at because I have never worked in the Middle East and it will be a fascinating new challenge for me to undertake. I am also excited by my new position and to learn more about other subjects, as I help fashion a new style of curriculum.
