I am originally from Sheffield in England which is where I trained to be a teacher. I am in my thirteenth year of teaching. Before teaching in Qatar, I was the English Coordinator, a Classroom Teacher and Music specialist for four years in an International School in The Netherlands. Before teaching in Holland, I was a teacher at the British School of Bucharest in Romania and prior to this at several public and private schools in England. I have experienced teaching in all year groups from Early Years to Year 6. I have worked outside of education, followed my dream to ‘make it’ as a musician and worked as a Paralegal in one of the UK’s finest Human Rights legal departments.
My wife Simona is also a member of the NAISAK teaching team and our daughter Sofia attends the school. One of the other passions in my life is music. I am a classically trained musician and can play and teach the Piano, Guitar, Flute, Recorder, Drums and Bass Guitar as well as musical theory. In my spare time I enjoy exercising, cooking and visiting new places.
