Well, we made it through the first week! I know I was very happy when Friday afternoon rolled around. Parents, teachers and students alike have a lot to take in during the first few weeks of the new school year.
The move to two campuses has meant a lot of new routines for many of us. I have missed seeing the faces of my friends who only have children in High School now as I am more often at the Primary campus. This is just one way in which we have to work hard to preserve our great St. Andrews community.
As for the PTG Committee, we are lucky to have a natural split of members across both campuses so we are able to move forward as one Committee with focal points at both Primary and High School. If you have questions or issues relating to the Primary campus, you can get in touch with Ann, Jas, Nik, Paul, Spring or me. Similarly, if you have questions or issues relating to the High School campus, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Rosy, Tina, Axel, Ann, Spring or me. Several teething problems have already been addressed, for example, Primary students using the shuttle bus to the High School campus as well as developing the products on offer at the new snack shop on the Primary Campus. But please do let us know if you have any worries at all and we will do our best to help you solve them.
Please note that the date of the Annual General Meeting of the PTG has changed. It will now be held on Tuesday, 12 September 2017 at 08.00 a.m. in the Drama Studio on the Primary campus. An email was sent to all parents on Friday outlining the format of the meeting as well as the procedure to follow if you would like to get involved. If you did not receive that email, please let us know and we can get it to you.
