Year 10 GCSE artists and photographers have been investigating portraiture with a difference.

It is common in GCSE Art and Photography to create work within an open ended theme. A few weeks ago our young creatives in Year 10 were asked to investigate a variety of ways of creating portraits, with a particular focus on how mood or emotion can be expressed. The results so far, shown below, demonstrate not only how effectively our students are communicating moods and meanings, but also how personal and refined their work is becoming.
