Primary School Music: Fun Day Talent Auditions

KS1 and KS2 children can audition for the House Fun Day Talent Show 2019 at St Andrews International School Bangkok. There is information on how to prepare for an audition and also how many house points can be won! This is NOT just for music! The children may audition with any talent they have, but need to make sure it is entertaining to watch!

House Talent Show - Showcase of Winners on Fun Day

It is time to show just how talented our STA students are!

To take part, the students should prepare a short item that shows off their talent. This could be poetry reading, music, drama, dance, art, comedy, magic or any other skill that your child would like to share. Please bear in mind the audience when preparing so that the talent is presented in an interesting and entertaining way!

The auditions will take place during music lessons in the week beginning 21st January. Your child should plan, rehearse and be prepared to show their talent during that week. If their music lesson is on a Monday they must be ready on Monday!

ALL AUDITIONS WILL RECEIVE 2 HOUSE POINTS!!!

Please could you help your child to prepare for this by supporting him/her in their practicing and letting them perform to you as a pretend show. Through this support your child will feel more confident, prepared and excited about auditioning in class.

The winners will be announced the following week and all winners should be ready to perform in a Talent Showcase on Fun Day, Saturday 2nd February!

Please encourage your child to take part in this opportunity to develop their performance and presentation skills, as well as supporting their house!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Congratulations to Eames!

We would like to congratulate Eames from Y6 who performed as part of the American Protege Concert in Carnegie Hall during the holidays. She won her place by submitting a video for consideration and was selected to perform as part of the winners recital. Eames performed with expression and composure and we are very proud of her! Well done Eames!
