Throughout the day, students developed their creativity and coding skills and explored new ways to create and share content using the latest educational technology.

Learning from the creatives at the Apple Store Recently, a selected number of students visited the Apple Store at Icon Siam, where they were treated to a collection of workshops delivered by the creatives at the Apple Store.

A selected number of students visited the Apple Store at Icon Siam where they were treated to a collection of workshops delivered by the creatives at the Apple Store.

The session focused on enhancing a range of skills using the iPad to leverage the latest technology to improve learning in and outside of school.

They learned an array of handy new skills such as how to:

Create your own podcast using the GarageBand app
Unleash creativity on the iPad with an apple pencil using the Procreate app
Develop that computational thinking and coding skills using the Swift playground app.

Hopefully, this field trip to the Apple Store will excite and encourage St Andrews students to learn more about the latest technology. We are planning more trips to other technology centres around Bangkok to enable students to develop further essential skills such as critical thinking, creation and computer programming.
