Staff Profiles: Jette Vincent

Jette

Early Years Teacher (EY2 Chicks)

I qualified as an Early Years Teacher in 1996 and later on studied for my PGCE. My qualification is broad and enables me to work with both children and young adults. I have worked with autistic teenagers and with children with cerebral palsy and I have enjoyed working with Nursery and Kindergarten children in international schools. Through my jobs I have had the opportunity to travel a lot and have been working in Ireland, Sri Lanka, Denmark, Kenya and Thailand.

When my family and I had the opportunity to come to Thailand we were happy to make the move. I knew St Andrews International School Bangkok from previous work experience and did not hesitate to look for a job here. My previous experiences with the school had only been positive and I am happy to be able to work here again.

I come from Denmark and now live here in Thailand with my family. I like the warm and hot weather and enjoy the Thai food very much. In my spare time I like to travel with my family and I’m always looking for new places to visit.

I really enjoy working at St. Andrews. I find that it is a very friendly yet dedicated school that wants the best for the children.
