I’m a qualified a teacher in the United Kingdom and the spent the first few years teaching in a school in the North of England. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to gain experience of different cultures and countries and seized the opportunity to move to Ecuador in South America to work at an international school there. I spent five very successful years at the school. After this period of time I returned to England for 12 months and I worked in a young offender’s institute developing and delivering an education program. I then decided to return to a life working abroad and applied to work as a Biology teacher at the ABC International School in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I worked there in various pastoral and leadership positions for a total of nine years. Whilst working in Vietnam, I had heard much about St. Andrews international School and its excellent reputation, when an opportunity arose for me to join the teaching team here, I fully embraced it and have now been fortunate enough to be part of the St. Andrews community since 2014.

“Biology is one of my favorite subjects, Mr. Andy presents it in a way that I understand and I have seen my grades improve whilst he has been my teacher”.
"I hope that Mr. Andy is my teacher when I get to choose Biology in Year 10”.
