After qualifying in the UK, my first international school was in Bratislava, Slovakia where I taught Year 1 for three years and became the Infant ICT co-ordinator. This was a great start to my international teaching career and I thoroughly enjoyed teaching children from other cultures and utilising their knowledge and understanding of the world to create stimulating and engaging lessons. I then moved to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam for seven years where I was a class teacher in Years 3 and 4, as well as holding a variety of middle and senior management positions.
I chose to move to St. Andrews International School Bangkok as I had heard so many great things about the school whilst working in Vietnam. The ethos of the school and its inclusive practice really appealed to me and you really have a sense of that the moment you step onto the campus and walk around the school.
