I am a graduate of Bachelor in Elementary Education major in Science and health with flying colors, Bachelor in Secondary Education major in Social Studies and had earned academic units in Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management.
After loads of work in the Philippines and the hunger to wield my professional career, I decided to work abroad. My first few months here in Thailand was a bit rough but when I found St Andrews International School everything turned into rainbows.
Working at St Andrews International School as a Functional Skills Educator under SEN (Special Educational Needs Program) catering students with special needs broaden my perspective that education doesn’t only evolve in a normal setting but it circulates in all corners of the school which supports and put much effort in extending help to those students who needs more assistance not just academically but the holistic being of a student.
Apart from this, the school gives me the opportunity to be aware and be involved in 21st century education which is vital in student’s development. The STA community taught me to be more compassionate, resilient and be sensitive to every student with different walks of life and the wisdom to know its differences.
