I came to Thailand in 2007 to do my TEFL certification and have been here ever since. I immediately fell in love with the country, teaching and the joy I got from watching students make progress. When I knew that I wanted to have a career as an educator, I decided to get my PGCEi from The University of Nottingham in 2013. I taught kindergarten at the Singapore International School of Bangkok for three years then went on to teach EAL at St Andrews Dusit for the last three years. I started at St Andrews International School Bangkok in 2018 as an EAL Teacher and feel truly fortunate to be working at a school with such a wonderful reputation around Thailand.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, playing sports, working out and trying new restaurants around town. I thoroughly enjoy cooking and I’m currently learning how to cook many Thai dishes.
St Andrews International School Bangkok is different to all other schools I have worked because of the amazing students, parents and teachers I get to interact with on a daily basis. It feels truly international as there are students and teachers from all over the world here. The school facilities are amazing; it's great to see the children so happy to be at school.
