I have been at St Andrews since 2012. I first arrived as Head of Geography before moving on to KS4 coordinator and now my current position which is Deputy Head of Student Welfare and Progress. I completed the Nord Anglia Middle Leadership Programme in 2017 which has helped me to develop the pastoral system at STA. I have been a qualified teacher since 2002 after graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Geological Sciences and a PGCE in Geography. All of my posts were in the UK before making the move to St Andrews. I have held many posts including Head of year, Head of Geography, form tutor , Associate Senior Leadership Team and various sports coaches. In my spare time I love spending it with my family as well as taking part in as much sport as possible including golf, rugby and football. At St Andrews I am also the High School Golf coach. St Andrews as a school and a community is a big factor to why I wanted to work here and also am looking to stay here for the future. The school's mission statement and the great STA Community document is something I feel very strongly about and am glad to be part of it.
