I have been a Learning Support Teacher since the STARs programme began in August 2017, and I am proud to be working for an institution whose ethos prioritises student success. I have over 20 years of experience teaching and advocating for individuals with developmental, physical and mental health disabilities. Over the years, I have collaborated with very talented transdisciplinary teams to ensure students achieve their full potential.
I have spent many years mentoring fellow educators, helping to create an inclusive community for individuals with disabilities. I am always striving to improve my skills to become a better teacher. I am a creative person, and this has allowed me to run dynamic programmes that consistently motivate and engage my students.
I approach my work with dedication and enthusiasm, always striving to inspire confidence in my students.
STA staff have an inclusive attitude towards students with special needs.
