Lower Key Stage 2 have been busy this week practising for the upcoming Christmas Show. Each Year 3 and 4 class is busy preparing a musical performance as part of our play based on The Snowman by Raymond Briggs.

In music and choral lessons the children have been working hard on their singing and performing. During time with their class teachers they have been working on how to present it on stage.

The year 4 children have the extra responsibility of narrating and acting parts which join the class performances together. We have been busy practising on the stage to make sure we know our songs, dances and lines. We are all enjoying the process and looking forward to the performance.

Quotes from children:

‘The rehearsals are going really well. It is all going smoothly.’

‘I like some of the songs and actions that we are doing.’

‘It is going well. I think the parents will like it because the story is good and the songs are fun.’

‘I think people should come and watch the show because we have put a lot of effort into making it.’

The children’s performance will be on Thursday 7th January at 6:00pm. We hope to see lots of parents there!
