The 2014 Young Entrepreneur Competition in an annual Business Studies event held in Beijing and Shanghai and BSB students have a proud history of competing in this.
This is a very important component for the IGCSE Business Studies course at BSB. Students need to develop a new and innovate product, conduct market research into their product to see if it is feasible. Once there is a target market or niche market for there product students need to fully cost the project, develop a prototype, implement promotion and pricing strategies and develop a full marketing plan for their proposed product. In addition to this a 5 minute pitch must be developed and presentated at the competition, a 30 second marketing promotion and a full sized poster must be developed by each group to successfully enter the competition. These items are then presented at the competition with awards given to the students in various categories. Full business attire and suits must also be worn to the event over the two days.
